Being Silly is Alright
Some people say I'm stupid,
Some people laugh at me as being foolish,
I'd rather be a silly and foolish person,
At least I don't feel tired!
I don't have the talent for eloquent speech,
Nor do I have the skill to read between the lines.
My straightforwardness is my strength,
My impulsive speaking is my weakness,
Because I'm straightforward and honest,

People often find me annoying.
I don't have as many scruples as others,
My methods aren't as ruthless as others,
When I'm happy, I laugh heartily;
When I'm sad, I cry bitterly.
I'm open-hearted and uncomplicated in my dealings with others,
Sometimes I'm deceived;
Sometimes I'm looked down upon.
I can't say things that go against my conscience,
And I won't force myself to do things I dislike just to gain someone's favor.
When I'm calculated against, I smile calmly;

When I'm hurt, I smile with relief.
I don't compete or fight for advantage;
I don't hold grudges or harbor resentment,
I live according to my own preferences.
Some people say I'm stupid,
Some onlookers laugh at me as being foolish,
But there's nothing wrong with being a fool!
