Without Reclaiming the Rivers and Hills of the World, I Will Not Turn Back to Look at My Homeland. With Respect! The Unsung Heroes of the Peaceful Era
Spring is still cool and cold, without the songs of orioles and swallows, nor the willows' spring shadows, just a pale blue sky surrounded by drifting clouds. A gust of wind brings the chilling cold from the peak of Mount Tian Shan. Spring, is it returning, or not?
Yearning for spring, I idly looked at poems written by ancients, these melancholic verses only tangle my thoughts. Spring, so fleeting, holds so much to cherish. Those heroic warriors marching forward; those lives forever imprinted on the spring of 2020.

Spring 2020 will be recorded in history and eternally remembered by the Chinese people.
The emotions evoked make those who view them weep. Even though they are wrapped in protective suits, unrecognizable, people remember them – the beautiful big whites. Seeing them, we see hope; seeing them, we witness a miracle of life. Thank you, angels in white, thank you, the tireless heroes. The Peaceful Era is where you forged the Chinese spirit, uniting everyone in one heart.
Born in an era of peace, we should possess patriotism; living in this global village, we are all one family.
Arching clouds glow brightly, swords are sharpened like frost and snow, shining with a brilliant light, riding on the autumn wind across the galloping horse from Chang'an. Not reclaiming the lost lands of Hexi, I will not look back at my homeland. This poem's first two lines depict the heroic vigor and forward momentum of the soldiers; the last two lines express the determination to reclaim lost territories.
They are like these tireless heroes, bravely volunteering to go to the frontlines, in stark contrast to those who deserted during critical times. We are all flesh and blood; you risked your lives for us, and that's why we have this peaceful home behind us.
Taking care of the small and the many, each and every hero is a person of this era. I apologize, I've always carried a hero's knot in my heart, believing heroes wouldn't appear in a peaceful era. After this event, I realized heroes have always been among us,
It's those people, facing danger, standing in front of us; those unassuming figures confront the unpredictable. Behind them, they protect the Chinese people. Truly grateful for you, you, Mr. Zhong, Mr. Li, and all those nameless heroes!!!
