A good child will play the piano, dance, and paint, and their academic performance is decent.
When he grows up, he will be in junior high school and do everything well. He will always be among the top scorers in exams, entering key high schools, and becoming the champion or among the top scorers in the college entrance examination. He will then become a state-level official or among the top scorers, earning praise from relatives and friends, classmates, and family.
Later, he will enter prison before the age of 55.
His parents would then weep bitterly: 'How could our child end up like this?'
Should this kind of education and outcome be what we want?
In our time, we pursued scores, calligraphy, painting, and music. Now we should reflect:
The core problem of education is not the student's ability, nor the reform, nor the technological aspect.
Our education lacks the 'soul'. The technological aspect of Chinese education has progressed too quickly, and 'soul' has lagged behind.
Guide children to turn to love, goodness, and wisdom.
So, should we view education from a philosophical perspective, and is the 'soul' the problem?

Plato said:
'Education is not about turning the soul, but about turning the soul.'
So, where should we turn, and to what should we turn? Should we guide children to turn to scores, talents, skills, or expertise? None of these are correct.Indian philosopher Krishna Muti wrote in the book 'Education is to Release the Soul'.
Releasing the soul means where should the soul turn? According to Plato, the soul should turn to love, wisdom, and goodness.
If a person is slightly lacking in technology or talent, how much can he fall short? This is what the entire world values.
However, many people have forgotten this.
I deeply realized that education is 'slow'.
What is education?
Education is like nurturing flowers. While nurturing, observe, and wait patiently for the flowers to bloom.
I would like to give this message to all parents: Children should be nurtured patiently and slowly, without haste, and should not be rushed.
God gave him existence in this world, so he must have a way to realize his value.
Remember this sentence: 'Existence is value.'
Education is like nurturing flowers, requiring patient waiting.
Life should be an art of 'slow'. Education should be like this too.
Once, a student's daughter came to my home when she was in fifth grade.

She said, 'Teacher, why doesn't my child want to eat, is thin, and has yellow hair? What should I do?'
I asked, 'At 10 years old, why are you in such a hurry?'
'She is not good at studying and doesn't like to eat, and she is shorter than her peers.'
I said, 'You don't seem too concerned about this. How much does your child fall short? Don't be anxious, it won't work.'
In 2014, after the college entrance examination, she filled in her college enrollment form. When she came to show me the beautiful girl who stood tall and had a lovely appearance, she said, 'Please call me Teacher.'
I asked, 'Why are you so anxious? Your child has grown taller and more beautiful than you, and has gone to a good university.'
She said, 'I was very worried at that time. Now I'm very proud of her.'
However, education is most afraid of two extremes:
One is completely careless; the other is to promote a flower according to one's own ideas, rather than according to the flower's inherent nature and needs.
Only by persistent cultivation can there be a chance for flowers to bloom slowly.
What we parents should do is to provide children with fertile soil, patiently observe the type of flowers, and then choose cultivation methods based on this, and then guide them in moderation, removing weeds and promoting lushness.
Education should be suitable.
Every student's path to success is not fixed.
If we see that a child likes to draw or play the piano, it doesn't mean he will definitely become an artist in the future. He may work in a field unrelated to this.

If we judge a child's future based on his current performance or talent, how much he can fall short, then we have a problem with education.
I believe that these principles should not be abandoned, ensuring that the future possibility exists.
Therefore, my conclusion is:
First, there is no universal method or approach. Suitable education is the best education;
Second, every student's path to success is not fixed.
We shouldn't assume that a child's current likes and talents will determine his future.
But we often see that children's current interests and talents don't necessarily lead to success.
