Crossroads in Spring

I wander at the crossroads of old and new years
I immerse myself in the changing seasons of winter and spring
I gaze upon the distant future
I contemplate the things receding behind me
Yesterday's dreams shatter like water flowing eastward, one after another
The distant scenery fades away like a dream carried by the wind, again and again
I've grown accustomed to the path of thorns and pitfalls
I never expect a sudden, miraculous happiness
I am a small blade of grass, nourished only by the faint sunlight and rain
I am not a towering tree, bringing no auspicious birds
Each step I've taken leaves a heavy footprint
Each journey I undertake is soaked with sweat

Through hardship and joy, I continue to move forward
Through favorable and unfavorable circumstances, I pursue my predetermined goals without hesitation
I refuse to live a life of ease and indulgence; I refuse to bow to fate
I press on relentlessly, never stopping
I have thought about this for a long time, before and after the Spring Festival
Suddenly, my mind clears, like a bright dawn
I send greetings to everyone
I thank all my friends for their presence in my life
We met as promised
I look forward to our unexpected encounters
