Humility is a Bane, Not a Boon
I often hear people say, 'I can't do this, I can't do that,' which is obviously making others know their own weakness and lack of confidence. If this happens in the workplace, it will inevitably be swallowed up by opponents. When facing strong opponents, some people will say, 'I am the best, I am the strongest,' and over time, they become the 'best' and 'strongest.' Their opponents have been defeated by them because they have a belief in confidence. With such a goal, constantly moving towards this goal, they won't hesitate or retreat, ultimately becoming the best.
Poverty is not terrible, and being in a lower status is not a problem. As long as you leave a specific environment, you are equal to everyone, there is no difference, you should never consider yourself inferior, everyone is equal, you shouldn't try to please others, you should treat everyone with respect and dignity. You shouldn't think you're no worse than anyone else. People are equal in terms of character, and you shouldn't try to flatter anyone.
It's okay to struggle and be poor, but one thing is crucial – never look down on yourself. If you do, there's no way out. A person who belittles themselves will still be perceived as flawed, even if their wealth or status is high, and they still need to change.
When someone has no achievements or success – whether they've started a family or built a career – it doesn't necessarily mean they've failed. Instead, it means they're deceiving themselves and looking down on themselves. Therefore, you must change yourself. Start with small things in work and life, constantly cultivate your confidence, cultivate your resilience to hardship and pressure. Set a challenging goal, step by step change and complete it, believe that through such faith and tempering, you will become confident.
Everyone can choose a path that suits them. The journey of human growth is broad and expansive. Even after achieving certain successes, you will still discover your shortcomings. Therefore, you must constantly remind yourself to improve and change, but if you always feel inferior and live in a pessimistic world, that's a waste of effort.
