Listening to the Autumn Rain All Night

I miss you eight times every day
like reciting the mantra of Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva every day
You are the Bodhisattva hanging around my neck
You are blessing my longing in the autumn rain

You live in a vineyard with fragrant grapes
Your kindness is evident in every gesture
From your precious fragrance
A passionate poet of devotion
Walking on the rain-soaked path
Holding an umbrella
Alone, gazing into your direction with melancholy
If you are the Bodhisattva hanging around my neck
My eyes will see a beam of light in the night rain
Writing a fairytale of autumn
Bodhisattva, Bodhisattva

Blending with the autumn rain arriving at my thatched pavilion
I am in the small tower
Listening to the autumn rain all night
Cicadas chirping outside the window
You are the Bodhisattva hanging around my neck

Perhaps a paradise of happiness and joy
Manifesting in my hands clasped in prayer
Blooming a lotus flower of a thousand years
Bodhisattva, Bodhisattva
You are my Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva
Hanging around the neck of my love
How beautiful
How passionate
