Pledge to the Purity of the Mind

Vow for the Pureness of the Mind
Text by: Dan Dan You Yan
A devout layperson visits the temple daily to offer flowers to the Buddha. As soon as they leave the temple, they experience turmoil. The Zen master said: The freshness of the flowers is the same as the purity of our minds. We must often self-purify and adjust our thoughts to adapt to the environment. 'Vow for the Pureness of the Mind' can help you stay away from distractions.
Love makes the eyes see the world as pure; hate makes the eyes see the world as filled with impurities, and the world becomes ugly. If your mindset changes, the world changes with it. The good and bad of life; the joys and sorrows of life; the advantages and disadvantages of the environment, all depend on your mindset.

And all of this doesn't require boasting and noise; when you use your heart, everything will resonate. If it's just a hollow promise, then remain silent. Silence is at least a form of respect; pretentious noise is a desecration of emotions.
Knowing that it's difficult to maintain inner purity in this dusty world, I think, as long as you face life with a pure and transparent heart, that's enough. 'Vow for the Pureness of the Mind', let your heart speak, let your heart perceive…
