Why Do We Let Go of What We Once Considered Most Important When Our Career Hits a Low Point?
When a career hits a low point, why do we suddenly let go of what we once considered most important? First, we need to understand what those things were. These things generally fall into two categories:
1: Fame and Desire;Fame and desire – everyone has them, because of ideals, spiritual pursuits, and material enjoyment. People constantly strive forward, even resorting to unscrupulous means to achieve their goals. However, excessive pursuit of fame and endless satisfaction of desires often leads you to an endless abyss, ultimately destroying yourself;
2: EmotionEmotions include friendship, family, and love. There are no gatherings that will never end in the world; life is a series of joys and sorrows, and we long for a lover to accompany us through old age. We also hope to have at least one confidant, to share tea and chat about everything and nothing, and to have a harmonious family life, enjoying simple happiness in everyday life. But suddenly, we might discover that the people we love and our friends are often the first to betray us;
When our career is thriving and successful, we see illusions. At that time, the people around us, the flattering words, we listen to them, we think we have reached the pinnacle of our career, and that life is offering us a golden opportunity. But when our career hits a low point, you realize that it was all an illusion; no one has always been good to you, unconditionally good.
Therefore, adjust your mindset, and you'll find that nothing is that important, except yourself.
