Schopenhauer’s Philosophy of Life: The Musings of a Rogue
1. The most basic element of human happiness is the inner spirit within him.
2. The way to measure a person's happiness lies in their individuality.
3. The greatest degree of happiness is based on individuality, not on wealth, what one possesses.

4. What a person has within their inner self is the primary element of happiness.
5. Every individual's most primary and most authentic existence is to live within their own body, not to exist in the opinions of others.
6. Giving excessive value to others' opinions is a common error that makes us fearful and servile, causing many people to sacrifice peace, wealth, health, and life.

7. Maintain a balance between our expectations for the present and the future.
8. A person can only be himself when he is alone; if he doesn't love solitude, he won't love freedom, because it is only when he is alone that he is truly free. Constraint is always unavoidable in social situations; the more distinctive a person's personality, the harder it is for him to make sacrifices for social interaction.
9. People's preference to endure or avoid solitude is related to their personal value.
10. A person does not need to interact with others if he has sufficient inner substance.
11. Without experiencing significant solitude, inner self-evaluation is impossible.
12. Gangsters are good at socializing.
13. If we can anticipate disasters and prepare our minds, we will not feel them so heavily when they come.
14. We should view the constant small troubles in life as rehearsals for facing great misfortune; otherwise, we will become weak and timid in abundance and comfort.

15. Everything is void.
