Walking Low Up the Hill and High Down the Hill

Those who don't believe in cause and effect will always regret and complain. Once they understand the principle of karma, they'll realize that everyone has their own destiny and shouldn't envy others. Everyone has their own circumstances, so there's no need to envy others. You can reshape your destiny through your actions, as life is inherently transient. Remember: the emperor of today might be a prisoner tomorrow, and the wealthy man today could become a beggar. Many worldly glories are fleeting and ephemeral.

Life is your own; don't measure your life against others' standards. Trying to please everyone is futile and irresponsible towards yourself. You can't satisfy everyone, as each person has different standards. Don't get lost in seeking others' approval; listen to the voice within you and be true to yourself.
Action brings results, and dedication brings dreams. If life deceives you, be tolerant and learn to be alone. Even if you feel lonely, don't show it, giving people an opportunity to underestimate you. Learn to be patient and resilient.

Walk low to ascend, and high to descend. Go with the flow. When facing life, do your best to fulfill your destiny. Accept any outcome with equanimity.
