Enjoying the Flowers Doesn't Require Traveling Far; Benxi is Really a Good Place
On the first day after Qingming Festival, the warm sunshine embraced the Benxi River, and my mood was equally warm. After lunch, I embarked on a stroll down a street, starting a rendezvous with spring.
In Benxi, the peach trees on Walu Road are messengers of spring, year after year. They put on their new clothes early, in shades of pink and white, elegant and alluring. Just a glance was enough to deeply embed them in my heart.
From south to north, walking from street to street, covering a distance of approximately 800 meters. At the starting point, the peach blossoms were quietly revealing their smiles, no one knew when they bloomed, it was as if they had only just appeared last week. Nature is so mysterious, always surprising us unexpectedly.
Along the sides of the street, there was a peach tree approximately every five meters, with pink and white blossoms arranged artfully, some towering up to fifteen meters, others only six or seven meters tall. I longed to gently hold the blossoms in my hands, but sadly, my height wouldn't allow it.
Finally, I climbed onto a low wall, allowing me to observe the peach blossoms up close. Each blossom was about the size of a coin, with five elliptical petals, and distinct stamens, with golden faces. Peach blossoms like to cluster together, leaning on each other to decorate spring.
I encountered one tree tied with a red string, though I couldn't see its interior, it clearly expressed its intentions – 'May all that is cherished be reciprocated…'
