Azaleas Blooming, Red Mountains Everywhere - A Dongshan Spring Viewing Tour
The spring sunshine is warm and gentle, accompanied by the sound of spring thunder and spring rain arriving in succession, everything is reviving, and the vegetation in the countryside is vigorously stretching, one by one small buds are quietly blooming after drinking plenty of water. The azaleas across the mountains and valleys are competing for beauty, colorful and magnificent. It gives a sense of unrestrained exuberance, a sense of unrestrained beauty, and a sense of spirited vitality.
Upon arriving at Dongshan Enhong Mountain, we were immediately intoxicated by this spectacular azalea sea. In the misty morning fog, one by one, one cluster of azaleas quietly bloomed along the ridges, like torches in the morning mist, like crimson ribbons dancing, like dawn flames burning, dyeing Enhong Mountain into a magnificent, fiery landscape, forming a natural grand garden. Hundred azaleas, thousand red throughout the mountains, ten thousand trees competing, irresistibly coming to the azalea tree, as big as a bowl, as small as red dates, these dazzling flowers peeked out from the green leaves, submerging the former luxuriant branches and leaves, the rough and sturdy tree trunk added to the splendor of the flowers, giving them a sense of vicissitude and heaviness. The flowers swayed in the wind, becoming colorful waves, layer upon layer, the flower centers danced leisurely in the wind, occasionally butterflies paused quietly.
In this several dozen kilometers of mountain foothills and cliffs, there are many precious species such as high mountain azaleas, Yunjin azaleas, broad-leaf azaleas, Gao Yue azaleas, and large-leaf azaleas. All kinds of azaleas compete for beauty and charm, grounded and connected to the earth, forming unparalleled azalea viewing corridors, astonishing the world. Wandering in the azalea sea, crossing the light and secluded trails, taking a deep breath of the air rich in floral aroma, one's whole person is intoxicated! Walking among them is like traveling in a sea of flowers, looking out, everywhere is blooming azaleas, within reach, beautiful beyond words, entering one to sniff, sweet and fragrant, makes one intoxicated.
After the cycle of the four seasons, the mountains’ azaleas still wear smiling faces, waiting for you with colorful umbrellas, as charming as cloves, calling you to slowly lift your feet, quietly savoring the intoxicating fragrance with their sturdy noses. Here, the azaleas do not have the exquisite beauty of roses, do not have the hidden elegance of orchids and chrysanthemums, do not have the chill of plum blossoms, nor the grandness of peonies, but they have a rustic and unrestrained air and simple and pure atmosphere, bringing with them thick rural vibes, evoking the homesickness of travelers.
