National Mask Production Utilization Rate Reaches 94%
Today's briefing by the State Council joint prevention and control mechanism introduced the latest progress in ensuring the supply of important medical supplies and guaranteeing the allocation of medical resources.

National Development and Reform Commission's Industrial Development Bureau Level One Inspector Xia Nao stated that since February 2nd, China's mask production has been increasing day by day. As of February 11th, the national mask production utilization rate has reached 94%, particularly the production utilization rate of medical-grade N95 masks has reached 128%, and 8 provinces have reached or exceeded 100%. The production utilization rate of non-N95 medical masks has reached 106%, and 10 provinces have reached or exceeded 100%. In provinces with confirmed cases exceeding 1,000, the output of medical-grade N95 masks has increased to varying degrees. For example, the daily output of N95 masks in Hubei increased from 45,000 pieces on February 2nd to 158,000 pieces on February 11th.
