Qingyang, Gansu: The Spirit of Sparrows
Chirping and fluttering up and down, coming in flocks and departing in pairs. Brown feathers with banded white markings, flexible minds, and tiny, round eyes that spin in circles… Sparrows are among the most familiar birds around us. Whether in spring or autumn, you can see their shadows under eaves and in wall cavities, and hear their calls. They are most active in spring, building nests with grass, breeding chicks, foraging for insects, and having a wonderful time. With their companionship, even everyday life is enriched with agility and beauty.
