Cat Drinks from ‘Prosperity Waterfall Basin’, Husband Uses This Trick to Prevent It

Intern reporter Lü Xin / Interview report

Next time remember to let the kitty see the 'instruction manual'! The cat living in Kaohsiung City, 'Ballball', has a special fondness and loves to drink from the 'Prosperity Waterfall Basin', contrary to pet automatic water fountains which it shows little interest in. Owner Hou Miss and her husband were baffled and had to add water to the basin daily to cater to their furry overlord.

Ballball would ignore water in the room 'that doesn't move with sufficient intensity' after drinking from the basin full.

Through the video, you can see Ballball sitting on a wooden table, extending its tongue to frantically lick the water in the fountain, and the crystal ball also accelerates its rotation because of it. After seeing this, Ballball's husband, Mr. Hou, couldn't help but laugh and say, 'No wonder I'm always adding water! Let's just buy a basin and put it in the room!'

Ballball's everyday behavior is really baffling.

Miss Hou said during an interview with ETtoday Pet Cloud, 'The husband asked me to 'take a look at what my son is doing' and I turned around to see this scene. I actually guessed Ballball would drink from the basin, so I added water to it. I didn't expect it would drink so much!' Currently, 1.5-year-old Ballball is super 'kioong' (eccentric), 'My husband suspects it has low IQ and asks me if there's a vet checking its brain… It really loves playing with slippers, and it plays with them as if it's a great pleasure.'

Ballball: This cat has its own way of life, hmph!

The pet video was posted on the Facebook page, many netizens commented after watching it, 'The ball on top is for speeding up the cat's fortune,' 'Luxury water fountain XD,' 'Crystal ball directly accelerates ~~~,' 'Haha, you've identified it well! Knowing it will bring in wealth and fortune,' 'My cat is also like this… just to drink the water in it,' 'It turns out it's more likely to drink more water,' 'Prosperity basin needs to be paired with a lucky cat!'
