Protect the Environment! British Swans Forced to Swim in Canal Garbage Piles, Eating and Feeding in Tires and Footballs

In people's impression, swans are a symbol of nobility, and people often find it difficult to associate them with dirty garbage. However, a recent news from the UK has completely shattered people's beautiful imagination and made people realize the importance of environmental protection.

According to the British 'METRO' report on February 19th, the Sankey Canal near Walton, Cheshire, has now become a sewer, and beautiful swans are forced to swim in water filled with garbage, searching for food, and their white feathers become dirty and smelly.

Recently, netizen Frank Hill shared a group of photos on Facebook's 'Sankey Canal Wildlife' group, showing swans forced to swim in a canal full of garbage, which aroused people's concern.

Frank also wrote: 'This is the sad state of one of Britain's oldest canals.'

The photos show that the water in the canal is almost dry, with all kinds of plastic bottles and garbage, as well as tires and footballs. However, three swans are still swimming in it, apparently searching for food.

The Sankey Canal has a history dating back to the 18th century, when the canal was built primarily to transport coal to Liverpool.

The photos of the swans aroused people's anger, and many netizens expressed that they should not survive in such a terrible environment.
