Since the beginning of this year, Clamp-billed Storks have been spotted in many places in Panshi City's Shan, Minzhu, Pudian, and Two Rivers counties. This is the scene captured by a reporter at a reservoir in Two Rivers. This group of Clamp-billed Storks is about 30 or so.
Clamp-billed Storks are mid-sized storks that resemble cranes in appearance. Clamp-billed Storks are migratory birds that prefer to inhabit tropical wetlands. Their habitats include rice fields, shallow waters, wetlands, lakes, and places with relatively high humidity and rainfall.

Clamp-billed Storks mainly live in India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. They were first recorded in Dali, Yunnan, China in October 2006, and are now a national Grade II key protected animal. They were also listed in the 2013 Red List of Species of the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
