'Four Paws' veterinarians and staff carefully examined and treated the lion Kandaka, working tirelessly through the night. The lion finally stood up around 3:00 AM on January 29th and showed a desire to eat. Currently, 'Four Paws' is continuing to rush to treat more animals in the zoo.

'Four Paws' wrote on Twitter: 'This is a good start.' 'When we arrived at the Al-Qureshi Park, we were shocked to find that the animals were living in unsuitable conditions – they were kept in very small spaces, with no room to move around and worrying hygiene conditions.'

The cause of the incident was that recently, photos of malnourished, thin lions were leaked online. These lions were being kept in the Al-Qureshi Park zoo in Khartoum, the capital of Sudan.

The park authorities later said that due to the economic crisis in Sudan, the zoo was unable to make ends meet, and the keepers had stopped feeding the lions regularly. The lions looked unwell and were very thin. These heartbreaking photos drew attention from animal lovers and enthusiasts around the world, who donated funds to help the animals in danger of death.

Thanks to the kind people around the world, these lovely animals can be treated and continue to survive. We are also grateful to the veterinarians and staff who worked tirelessly night after night to carry out the rescue.
