Tall and Slender Physique! ‘Beautiful Girl’ Bird Flock Spotted in Shangzhou
Recently, photographer Luo Gaohao took pictures of a flock of black and gray birds – Black-winged Long-legged Sandpipers in Lianhu Park, Shangzhou District.
Black-winged Long-legged Sandpipers belong to the genus of Dunlin, also known as 'Hongtieguniang' (Red-Legged Maiden) and 'Gaochieu' (High-Heeled Gull). Black-winged Long-legged Sandpipers are considered the 'beautiful girl' among the many migratory birds in the Silver Lake Bay wetland, with a slender figure, black wings, long red legs, and a sharp black beak.
These Black-winged Long-legged Sandpipers were dancing and playing on the north lake surface and the water surface, dancing and playing for about twenty minutes before rising into the air and flying south and then westward, slowly disappearing into the blue sky.
