Launch Concentrated Enforcement Campaign for Dog Management and Continue Civilized Dog Ownership Promotion
As the weather gradually warms, the number of people taking their dogs for a walk has increased, aiming to reduce dog-related disturbances, injuries, and uncivilized dog ownership behaviors. The Zhengzhou City Management Bureau will commence a Spring Civilization Dog Ownership Enforcement Campaign starting from today.
According to reports, this concentrated enforcement action will run from early April to late May, lasting two months. There will be no less than 3 joint law enforcement operations per week. The focus will be on concentrated enforcement of prohibited dog ownership, large dogs, stray dogs, and uncivilized dog ownership behaviors. Specifically, violations such as dogs on public roads, in parks, and along the river will be targeted, as well as illegal dogs (dogs without annual inspections), improper dog walking, and failure to clean up dog waste.
The Zhengzhou City Management Bureau’s Dog Ownership Affairs Office reminds dog owners: When taking your dog for a walk, always keep the leash securely fastened, proactively avoid elderly people and children, do not walk your dog in crowded areas, promptly clean up dog waste, and adhere to proper dog ownership practices. Let’s be good citizens who support the construction of a civilized Zhengzhou, and jointly protect our beautiful home.
