Danjiang Wetland in Shangluo Welcomes First Batch of Red-Crested Pochards Migrating North
It's currently the season whennorthward migration of birdsare migrating north. Shaanxi Province's key migratory channel is located at the southern foothills of the Qinling Mountains, and today, the first batch of red-crested pochard migrating north was discovered in the Danjiang wetland. This red-crested pochard population consists of 8 birds, some are dancing in the air, or they are diving into the water to forage, which is beautiful. Red-crested pochards are medium-sized waterbirds that migrate from the south between March and April.
