Melting ice and snow, the banks of the Kagedaq River in Daxinganling are becoming bustling. On March 17th, several wild ducks stopped to rest and forage.

During the spring and autumn migrations, numerous migratory birds stop here for transits and rest, replenishing their energy. The late 30s of March will be the period with the most migratory birds.

Currently, wild bird monitoring in Daxinganling has discovered the addition of more than 20 new bird species, and national protected animals such as the black-billed mandarin, hazel pheasant, and black-throated thrush have become more common, which is a reflection of Daxinganling's continuous strengthening of ecological protection.
