Life is Precious: Quietly Accept and Don't Contest
A classic line from the skit 'No Money No Problem' is: 'As long as you close your eyes once and open them once, that day will be gone. As long as you close your eyes again and don't open them, this lifetime will be gone. '
Throughout life, it's just about opening and closing your eyes, a turn of the head, and a turn of the body – one is a year, and one turn is a lifetime. Compared to time, we are all hurried passersby. In the end, we are all just piles of yellow earth, and many years later, even the yellow earth is hard to find.
Life is so short, every day is precious, and it cannot be wasted. When you are troubled, time slips away from you; when you are happy, time also slips away from you. But you have received the gift of time in that moment and left a happy memory.
Often, look back, what did you do in this life, what did you miss, and what did you get? Take a moment to spend time alone, reflect quietly, read quietly, let your heart sway with the passage of time. Or, you can have a cup of warm water by your side to feel the warmth of the outside world. Let memories surge up, one scene of the past, or joyful, or sorrowful, or surprised, or flowing like water, but all have been let go, everything is at ease.
Life is precious, be quiet and don't contend: ignore the past, don't take shortcuts in the future. Tell yourself that everything is not so bad, and it's a fleeting moment. When you are at peace, that's happiness; when you are calm, that's blessing; and when you are quiet, that's elegance.
The people you love are destined not to be together in this life, so let go. Loving others is also loving yourself. If you always yearn for someone, and you're heartbroken, then you're really foolish. Waste all your remaining time on it.
Things that cannot be undone, cannot be retrieved. Then let it go.
People are not sages, and no one can be without mistakes. If you made a mistake in this life, that's a past mistake. Because in the future, will you also make mistakes? No one knows.
Past mistakes are like 'Chen Guyi, rotten sesame', they don't need to be obsessed with. The correct approach is 'know your mistakes and correct them.' Once you know you're wrong, correct it immediately, and then don't dwell on it too much. You should believe in your kindness, not a ruthless person. When you have a kind heart, you will have kind deeds and receive kind rewards.
You always dwell on past mistakes, which is because of an obsession. When you have a knot in your heart, you'll be troubled. Don't quarrel with the past; let it go. The best practice is to forget the past, be kind, and stay true to your original intentions.
Things that cannot be changed, cannot be forced.
The future has some things that haven't started, and already have a predetermined ending. A person's strength is limited, and cannot be arbitrarily desired, nor can it save the world. For example, every tree will shed leaves, every year has seasons, everyone will grow old, and every outdated thing will be eliminated.
The future is a process of innovation and renewal, it will never 'go backwards.' Occasionally, there may be a 'turn back,' but the ultimate goal is always to move forward. Going around is a method, not retreat, not lag behind, it's a firm step. Therefore, when facing the future, you should look at problems with a developmental perspective, follow the development of life, and move yourself towards higher and farther places. If you can't achieve your ideal, that's okay, because you've always been on the way to your ideal.
Don't dwell on the past, don't make shortcuts in the future, cherish every moment. This is the best way.
Often, quiet down and think about what happened in the past, and then filter out all the unpleasant things. Treasure all the happy things. If happiness is too much, it needs to be forgotten too. Don't let your inner world be too full, and don't let your mind be too messy. Simplicity is happiness, peace is blessing, and quietness is elegance.
Often think about the future, don't always just get by, follow the development of life, and push yourself towards higher and farther places; lock in your life's ideal, step by step move forward. If you cannot achieve your ideal, that's okay, because you've always been on the way to your ideal.
Don't dwell on the past, don't make shortcuts in the future, cherish every moment. This is the best way.
