When necessary, decisive; when joyful, serene.

Through trials and tribulations, one can truly discern the sincerity of others' hearts; through shared hardship, one can understand the coldness and warmth of emotions. False sentiments cannot endure, and genuine hearts will always prevail. A love exists because of sincerity, and a heart remains because of deep affection. A person who willingly accepts a loss will not ultimately suffer a greater loss. A person who can bear a loss will naturally have good relationships, and with good relationships, opportunities will naturally abound. A person's life can be shaped by seizing one or two crucial opportunities.

The growth process is a continuous cycle of experimentation and ultimately achieving wisdom. 'Things happen for a reason' is a positive outlook on life, while 'going with the flow' is a state of contented survival, and 'knowing when to enter the world' is a refined understanding of life. When there is no disturbance, one is clear; when there is, one is decisive; when joyful, one is calm; when sorrowful, one is resolute.
Happiness isn't a luxury; it's a daily necessity. The price of happiness is remarkably low, but we often overestimate it. Don't hoard happiness in a safe; share it with others. People who are easily satisfied live simply and happily; those with excessive desires often carry a sorrowful expression. Happiness and sorrow are mutually exclusive; if you cling to one, the other won't come. To bring joy to others is compassionate, and to cultivate one's own happiness is a matter of responsibility.

Life constantly teases us—what you expect, the further it goes; who you cling to, the more deeply you'll be hurt. Don't expect too much; don't stubbornly hold on. Learn to let go of unrealistic expectations and fruitless attachments. In all things, be discerning, accepting, and understanding. Everything is a loss; the past is gone, so don't revisit it. Only embrace the present happiness and contentment.
