Let the person who hurts you leave your world and your heart
If someone wounds you deeply, let them go and don't think about it – it's not worth it!
In this world, there are many things that are simple, and many things that are complex; the key is how you perceive them yourself.
People say that emotions and human nature are complex – is that really true?
If you can maintain a pure heart, it's actually not complicated at all.
It's not difficult to judge whether someone is truly sincere; the difficulty lies in you deceiving yourself, saying he's actually good to you; or, creating fantasies, believing he will surely be good to you one day.
The final disappointment often stems from the initial hope.
If you don't reveal your heart, others simply cannot hurt you.
If someone chooses to wound you, it at least proves two points:
First, when he needs something, he's willing to use you as the means to achieve his goals – don't believe any 'accidental' lies. In a grown-up's emotional world, there has never been 'negligence,' it's entirely a subjective intention.
Second, once someone hurts you, there's no guarantee there won't be a second time, but it's also not guaranteed there won't be – it's uncertain.
It's a pity that many people don't respect these two points; after being hurt, they become even more open-hearted, and the result is often more painful and deeper.
If someone hurts you once, it's because of their malice; if someone is always being hurt by others, it's because of their own stupidity. Don't hope that a person who has hurt you will see your wounds and feel sorry for you, and that they will never hurt you again. Such pitifulness and exposing your wounds will only stimulate them further, because they cannot bear the 'crime' of hurting you, nor the responsibility of healing and relieving your pain.
After being hurt, what you should do is to learn to protect yourself – no matter what, if a person has no skills, you should at least learn to protect yourself emotionally, because emotional wounds are the hardest to heal.
The best way to protect yourself is to not reveal your most vulnerable inner self to others; instead, build a barrier around your heart, even if it's faced with weapons, it won't hurt you.
This is an exceptionally difficult process – like laying a thick cocoon over your inner self, it's painful at every moment. But if you don't go through this torment, how can you have a strong heart?
If you don't know how to cultivate this process, then first learn to make that person step out of your inner world. How can your heart not hurt if someone can hurt you?
All the hurt comes from opening your heart to others and letting them come in; therefore, the way to avoid being hurt is to completely shut that person out and close your heart.
This is a process of letting go of emotions; this process is painful, but even more difficult is whether you're willing to let go.
There must be letting go and starting anew; if there's no you in your heart, why bother to miss him – if you have to let go…
