A person at peace of mind and body is respectful, with a clear heart and quiet speech.

Changing yourself is painful, but not changing yourself is bitter. Change is difficult, so if you want to change, it must be a painful thing. Although this is the case, we often need to change ourselves. Cutting off our own escape routes can help us win a better outcome; we often need a kind of courage to cut off our own escape routes. Because there is an escape route behind us, we are full of hope and complacency, and when there is no escape route, we can win for ourselves.

The mouth does not crave flavors, and the heart is at peace; the mouth does not speak excessively, and wisdom is born; the mouth learns like the Buddha's soft words, the heart is naturally compassionate and does not generate evil; the mouth does not eat the lives of others, the body is tranquil and all diseases are eliminated; the mouth constantly smiles, annihilating anger and resentment, the body and mind are peaceful and people are respectful; the mouth has no distracting words, and true scriptures are born through meditation.

When young, one is inexplicably proud and stubborn, unwilling to say no, stubbornly persistent, and verbally aggressive, causing others to suffer. Then, when one's hair turns white, one regrets it. Such emotions and people only appear once in a lifetime. If you want to turn back, it's already too late.
