Who is the closest person to you in middle age? Who do you think it is?
When people reach middle age, many things they previously didn't need to consider become brought to the forefront for thought. Whether one holds a high-ranking position, has achieved success in their career, or is just an ordinary, unremarkable person, it's all the same.
As you grow older, who do you think is the closest person to you? Is it your siblings or parents, or your spouse who has never left your side?
1Siblings
From childhood, besides parents, our siblings have been the most familiar people around us. However, as we all mature and each of us builds our own families, our most frequent contact is often just a rare phone call or text message to say hello.
2Parents
When we were young, we didn't appreciate our parents' advice, but as we get older, we realize it's a valuable asset. Parents' love is deep and long-lasting, no matter how old we are or how much we've accomplished. But everyone eventually grows old, and parents will eventually pass away, no matter how long they've been with us. They gave us life, but they can't always be with us.
3Children
Since the day we got married, we've been eagerly awaiting the arrival of this little life. Our love for them only grows deeper, and as we enter middle age, this love continues to increase. However, as children grow up, they will eventually leave their parents to build their own homes far away.
4Spouse
In a person's life, nothing can accompany you for your whole life, except for your spouse.
Whether it's parents or children, they will eventually leave us, but only your spouse will stay with you until the end.
