Spring Willow Song – A Cascade of Green Silk Strips, Ten Thousand Willow Leaf Brows
One,One strand of emerald silk,
Ten thousand clusters of willow brows.
Within the brows, a jewel hidden,
Like mulberries, exquisitely fine.
Dawn dew wets the cloud-like hairpins,
Evening wind makes the hair flutter.
I wish to be like Gong Yu,
To spend a hundred years together.
Two,A whisker, five leaves,
Clusters of silkworms emerging.
Once cooked in the hearth,
Now not even spun into clothing.
Boiling cool water pulled out,
Sipping and tasting with salt.
In years past, I saved the pale grass,
Today my apprentice tastes novelty.
