Awakening – Waiting for You at Life's Crossroads!
From the dream we must awaken!
Man is not flesh but a 'heart' full of illusion!
This illusory 'heart' is, in the present moment, the true 'heart', the clear and original self!
This 'heart' can accommodate all things, arise and disappear with the flow of events!
All our 'ideals', 'dreams', 'fantasies', 'illusions' – everything is born out of the mistaken belief that 'I am flesh'!
Man, under the premise of confusion and inversion, creates everything he does, and it is all illusion upon illusion, a search for pleasure in suffering. Ultimately, we pay the price for our 'ignorance' and 'misunderstanding'!
In the present world, science and technology have become the mainstream culture. Human creativity has produced incredible technological civilization and significant scientific achievements.
However, our scientific achievements and technological civilization are also destroying our beautiful environment, consuming the Earth's limited, non-renewable resources at an alarming rate!
The faster technology develops, the greater the destructive power of humans. As long as there is a person with advanced technology on Earth, they can launch a bioweapon attack, nuclear attack, or even a planetary attack… Humanity is the ruler of Earth, and humanity itself will eventually destroy humanity due to its ignorance!
Technology is a 'double-edged sword'. On the one hand, it greatly facilitates our lives, changes our lives, and brings us unprecedented happiness. On the other hand, it also brings us great worries. Studying is like climbing a mountain; students are difficult, and teachers are even more difficult. Even decades of expert professors are still learning… Massive amounts of information make people dizzy, who can stop to feel the nature?
Those who have no money – are tired; those who have money – are even more tired! This is the same unfortunate fate of everyone in the 'Age of Technology'. Environment makes people exhausted, who can truly let go?
Of course not, humanity must awaken! Technology cannot save humanity, because the essence of technology is 'discovery, invention, creation, and application'! Science is 'without thought', science has no 'conscience', science is 'without heart'.
Science can only revolve in the illusory world's 'appearance', 'use', and 'application'. Scientists can only find the 'brain', but not 'thought', and not 'heart'! Because scientists have not 'realized their hearts and minds', this is the biggest flaw in science seeking truth!
The 'brain' is just a protein; can protein think, feel, or gain enlightenment? Truly a wonder of the world! Human truly needs scientists who have realized their hearts and minds. Why must we insist on the preconceived notion that 'the brain can think, feel, and create' when we know that we are one with all things in heaven and earth, the entire universe? 'The heart' is the true 'heart', the clear and original self. 'The heart' is 'lost' and 'found', not 'born' and 'died'!
Science is for the service of humanity, but humanity needs most of all 'heart' comfort, reliance, and belonging! But science can only tell us – you are evolved from a group of monkeys, who eats and drinks is fine! Such science can be used for what?
Human's highest wisdom is in 'Buddhism', in 'Taoism', in 'Confucianism'. The saints are gone, we can only find the light of wisdom through the 'Classics', to illuminate the darkness in our hearts, we can break through all confusion and inversion, practice the truth, and change our fate!
In a lifetime, we are confused and inverted, treat things as real, treat ourselves as real, we do not know there is a 'heart', we live a lifetime in vain! If we do not understand our 'heart', if we do not know who we are, we are still immersed in the grand illusion of the universe, the world, and nature, and we cannot awaken. Those people are 'particularly attractive', they are 'unaware of the reality', and they are pitiful!
Buddha attained supreme wisdom through arduous practice, he tells us: everything is illusory, from the law of emptiness to the Dharma-realm, one heart's manifestation of arising and passing away, root and dust one origin, liberation without duality, true and false are one. Who awakened first in the ages? Without regret, live a lifetime, I know myself!
Buddha and Bodhisattvas tell us to realize the true, to realize as we realize, to attain the supreme Buddhahood by self-realization. It happens in this very moment! Life is a practice, if not for this lifetime, when will it be for this lifetime?
