A Letter to Those Who Appear Happy on the Outside, But Have Countless Wounds Within

There are always some people who seem to be very happy all the time, giggling and joking around, without any worries, like a child. They say playing is their greatest pleasure, and they really enjoy playing, especially when they're with a group of people, their faces are always full of smiles, which many people envy. However, this is actually their most pitiful place, they don't want others to see their sad side, and they don't have the ability to be alone, because when it's late at night, they don't know what will happen when they're alone. Sitting by the window, they meditate on the past events.
No one can understand them. As they think about these seemingly happy people, a torrent of sadness flows down their faces, and they tell themselves, ‘It’s really not that big of a deal.’ They force themselves to keep smiling as a way to avoid the pain that ordinary people can’t bear!
They appear to be very strong, because in the eyes of others, they can face anything with a smile, but in fact, they have the most fragile hearts, and prolonged disguising makes it difficult for others to discover their deep-seated trauma. They are actually very lonely, although they are talking and laughing with a group of people, it's because they simply can't bear the torture of being alone!
They just want to live a simple and happy life, expecting and believing that everyone's smile is sincere, hoping that everyone around them truly likes them. Even small opinions from others can make them sad for a long time. They really care about it when they're not liked. Because they always think about others more than themselves, and they're always kinder to others than themselves. They consider it a happiness to be liked by others, and they like others more than themselves. But in fact, it's not, they've realized that their hearts are hurt, and tears can't be suppressed. After crying, they smile, wiping away their tears and saying, ‘It's okay, I can do well.’
They seem to be able to do anything, they seem to never have any worries, they seem to be able to solve any problem easily, they always like to appear in front of people who are crying, laughing and joking. And when they face their own problems, they are at a loss. When they face their sadness, they only hide in corners that no one can see, and their wounds keep growing bigger and bigger.

Their thoughts are very simple, and they say whatever comes to mind, without turning it seven or eight times in their minds. Unintentional words can easily cause misunderstandings. So, please don't hold them accountable, they never want to hurt anyone. Even small mistakes can make them regret for a long time.
They are actually very innocent, even if you give him a smile, he will remember your kindness for a lifetime. Therefore, their worldview is also very simple. Don't easily hurt their feelings, because once hurt, it's impossible to repair. If you have such a person around you, please give him (her) even a rare little care, let him (her) know that the world doesn't abandon them.
