Can You Last a Day on Only 600 Calories of Food?

Today is my 4th day of 'intermittent fasting'. My initial weight in the morning on an empty stomach was 150.2 pounds, which is slightly lighter than the first day. Although I've switched from the '5+2' pattern to a 'every 3 days' pattern, in reality, my daily diet is closer to a low-calorie diet, with a daily energy intake reduced by 500 calories. Because I can never consistently manage to consume only 600 calories on fasting days – I get too hungry!

Today was supposed to be the second fasting day in my weight loss plan, but I roughly calculated my total calorie intake, which is around 1400 calories (I really can't cut it down any further). Let's take a look at what I ate today~

Small tomatoes, one broccoli, one salad ball, dressed with Korean salad dressing, I ate half a bowl of it in a day

Tofu slices, green peppers, coriander, carrots, seasoned with chili oil; dinner also had 3 duck wings

Blueberry half a bowl, black coffee with 1 cup of milk, and half a pineapple

Scallion egg pancake for breakfast, meal replacement powder 2 packs for lunch,

Above is everything I ate today, basically no main courses, the meal replacement powder wasn't eaten for dinner. If I were to reduce it further to 600 calories, it would really be very difficult. This is without any added exercise. If dieting and exercise are combined, it could really be unsustainable. So for those who have previously lost weight by not eating, and then rebounded, these people can often endure 1 day of hunger and stick to the 'light fasting' pattern for six months, allowing the body to form a 'memory process', which then reduces the chance of rebounding. But for those who haven't experienced hunger, a diet of 600 calories a day is really quite painful~~

The most painful part of weight loss is the first week, and after a week, you get used to it, and the feeling of hunger decreases a lot. However, no matter what weight loss method you choose, the most important thing is to lose fat instead of losing muscle – this is also the cause of rebounding. So it is still better to follow a scientific pattern under the guidance of a nutritionist.
