Spring River Warms, a Hundred Mandarin Ducks Play in the Water at Changhua Creek

In early March, the breath of spring was gradually becoming stronger. Recently, in Changhua Township, Lu'an, over a hundred Mandarin ducks were resting and playing in Changhua Creek, creating a unique landscape.

Changhua Creek, also known as 'Purple Creek', was rated as 'Beautiful River and Lake' in Zhejiang Province in 2019. Its water quality remains above Class II throughout the year, and it has nurtured countless children of Changhua for thousands of years.

In recent years, with the accelerated pace of development along the creek, 'Five Water Governance,' small town environmental comprehensive remediation, and the in-depth implementation of beautiful towns, Changhua Creek has become a distinctive 'landmark' landscape of Changhua. Every spring, Changhua Creek's banks are lined with blooming cherry blossoms, attracting a large number of tourists to stroll along the creek, listen to the sound of the wind and water, and enjoy the beautiful spring scenery, which has a feeling of 'walking in the scenery,' like a 'tour in a painting'.
