Every Day, the Dog Brings Out Bread to Guard It, But It Doesn't Eat It, Just to Help the Owner Protect It

Dogs are intelligent and greedy pets, and when these two traits combine, they become a very troublesome existence! Because owners must fight wits with them. If you accidentally leave food out, the dogs will sneak it out. So when owners see dogs and snacks together, their first reaction is that they didn't put the food down properly and the dogs secretly took it out. But this is not the case for owner Katrina Frank.

Six-year-old Jakey is an excellent family guard dog! Why do owners think it's so outstanding? Because Jakey has been guarding something in the house day after day. What it guards is not the members of the family, but the bread kept in the house! Jakey has a unique habit: whenever the family is away, it secretly runs into the kitchen and brings out the bread that the owner often eats, then waits on the sidelines. It doesn't allow any creatures other than family members to approach.

Jakey has a very sensitive sense of smell, no matter where the owner hides the bread, it can find it and bring it out to guard. When it was not yet determined whether Jakey was interested in the bread, the owner once put the bread into the refrigerator. However, the result was that Jakey learned how to open the refrigerator. Although Jakey spends a lot of effort to find the bread, it will not do so. The family cat wanted to approach, and it would even let out a warning growl.

To understand her dog's habits, owner Katrina Frank consulted a veterinarian and a dog trainer. Professional experts all believed that this was just Jakey's habit as a family guard dog. These behaviors all help people to guard important supplies. When the owner returns home, it will bring the bread out to greet the owner, as if to claim credit, 'Look, I protected the things you often eat!'

The question is, what if there is no bread at home? The clever Jakey will use other baked goods as a substitute. The most outrageous time, Jakey pulled 17 biscuits out of the cupboard and hid them in different places in the house. When Katrina Frank returned home, it proudly led the owner to find the biscuits in all the places in the house. More magically, the biscuits were all intact. You say that Jakey isn't an outstanding family guard dog?
