Migratory Birds Arrive in Beijing for a Rest

Since February, migratory birds returning north have arrived in Beijing one after another, including great cormorants, grey cranes, etc., gathering in vast waters such as Guanting Reservoir and Miyun Reservoir. Although the ice has not completely melted, the playful and frolicking returning migratory birds have brought a touch of spring to the reservoir area that had been silent all winter. Recently, a pair of swan couples were resting on the ice of Guanting Reservoir with 6 swan chicks. Station manager Li Li of the Black Leopard Wildlife Protection Station introduced: 'From their eyes and posture, you can see that their living conditions are very healthy.'
