The adopted stray cat was always cold to people, but after the baby was born, it became the baby's guardian.

Cats are known to be some of the most arrogant little animals in the world. They are independent, have their own personalities, and may not show the affection and attachment you expect, even if you shower them with food, clean them, and care for them as much as you can. They like to act according to their own ideas, which is mysterious and baffling.

There was a cat in the country that verified this. It chose the newborn baby as its attachment object, but ignored the owner's years of dedication.

Five years ago, a stray cat was adopted by Jeannie from a local animal shelter. Jeannie carefully cared for it and named it Grace. Grace is a beautiful little female cat, and she is friendly, docile, and also friendly with the family. However, she looked very independent and individual, and she always kept a certain distance from Jeannie, never proactively seeking favor or cuddling, and did not show a very close attachment to Jeannie like the other two cats, which puzzled Jeannie.

When Jeannie was pregnant, the whole family quickly started preparing to welcome a newborn baby into their home. They wanted to know how the cat (especially Grace) would react to the new family member.

Jeannie said in an interview with the media: 'We always joke that when Jason was born, Grace would be the cat least interested in the new baby.'

Baby Jason was born, and at first, the situation seemed so. When Jason first returned home, Grace barely paid attention to him. This little cat didn't really know what the baby was, and then suddenly, the situation changed. Something ignited Grace's love.

Jeannie said: 'Grace spent a whole six weeks realizing that the baby was a new human and liked him very much, and after that, she always followed Jason closely, almost step by step.'

Once Grace realized that Jason was actually a human, he quickly became the one she liked most in the world. Now, Jason wherever he is, Grace accompanies him, and the owner who adopted her is simply unbelievable.

'We were going to leave with Jason, and Grace would block the door, so we had to try our best to hold her, so she wouldn't try to go with us,' said Jeannie. 'When we returned home, Grace was the first to greet us at the door, and before Jason was born, she didn't pay attention to our departure and return. When Jason was sleeping, she always had to curl up beside him or on him.'

Jeannie never thought Grace would be so obsessed with the newborn baby, but it seems that Jason is Grace's chosen one, and undoubtedly, they will be best friends for a long time.

Jeannie said: 'We are surprised that Grace loves Jason so much, because for a long time, we never thought she would have her own personality. When she is bored or lonely, she will look for someone who loves her, and now she always looks for Jason. No one has ever loved her so specially.'

It seems that cats' love for people is very deep and persistent, as long as the person is the one they have chosen!
