A Flock of Gulls Flying Over the Lake

March 3rd, a flock of gulls flew over the lake in Jingchun City, Jilin Province.
Recently, the first batch of migratory birds returning north have arrived in Jingchun City's Jingxin Wetland, with a large number of geese flying overhead, interspersed with white-tailed sea eagles and great white-headed eagles, both national first-class protected bird species. According to monitoring by the Wild Resource Protection Office of Jilin Northeast Tiger National Nature Reserve, these birds numbered over ten thousand, with approximately 30 white-tailed sea eagles and 2 great white-headed eagles.
Jingxin Wetland is located in the key state-owned forest area administered by the Changbaishan Forestry Corporation, where the China-Australia and China-Japan migratory bird routes converge. Every spring and autumn, tens of thousands of migratory birds stop to forage and replenish their energy here. Photo by Xinhua News Agency reporter Xu Chang.
