Once pigeons are sick, pigeon keepers will randomly prescribe medication, mild cases quickly recover, but severe cases are very headache-inducing. Some pigeons won't take medicine and can last for a few days, and once you use medicine, they will die in a blink of an eye. General pigeon medicines take a long time to work, and I'm here to introduce several medicines that have significant effects on pigeon prevention and treatment!
When you find yellow discharge in your pigeon's mouth, your pigeon has coccidiosis. Take 1/4 of Metronidazole, give twice a day, for 3 days to basically cure it.
If you find your pigeon having green stools and lethargy, your pigeon is suffering from intestinal disease. Take 1/2 a bottle of Chloramphenicol water solution, 1 capsule of Fluoroquinolone, and 1 grain of Enzyme-lactase, press them into powder and mix with water, inject into the crop twice a day for 3 days, and it's basically solved.
When pigeons have runny noses and cough, use Platycodon grandiflorum powder into the pigeon's mouth, then pour a little Amoxicillin capsule into the oral cavity, especially the throat, continuously for 3 days. If there's improvement, reinforce for 1 day. If there's no improvement, take a few grains of Penicillin powder into the mouth, and you need to use 5-6 times per bottle, remember to keep the dosage.
When pigeons have watery eyes and one-eyed conjunctivitis, don’t cheap, use APC eye drops, it's effective quickly, if you want cheap, use people's red eye drops, 3 times a day for 2 days, reinforce for 1 day, and it will be cured.
Head tilt disease, head tilt is usually at the end of the disease, the head and neck will be distorted, commonly known as head tilt. The scientific point of head tilt is that when pigeons are sick, body temperature rises, causing nerve death. Take a water leech, which can be bought in Chinese medicine stores, to treat cardiovascular diseases, cut the water leech into strips, feed twice a day for 3 days, and add 21 gold vitals in the middle.
