Flocks of Birds Gathering in Black River Wetland
Recently, a vibrant spring tide scene of a vast expanse of Gobi water town, featuring flocks of migrating birds dancing and pausing to forage, has been painted at the high-altitude section of Zhangye Black River Wetland National Nature Reserve's Tianhe Lake wetland and Mingtang Lake area.
According to reports, the high-altitude area is located in the middle reaches of the Black River, with numerous lakes, marshes and mudflats, a vast water area and abundant aquatic plant resources. It attracts a large number of migratory birds to nest and breed every spring. (Photo by Zheng Yaode)
