World's Most Critically Endangered Bird, the Yellow-billed Duck, Spotted in YunnanOn February 22nd, the Yellow-billed Duck, a world's most critically endangered bird species, was photographed for the second time in the Qinghua Sea National Wetland Park in Baoshan, Yunnan. There are only about 1000 individuals left worldwide. The Yellow-billed Duck was first spotted in the Baoshan Laizi Water Reservoir in January 2019. Staff members said that the park has increased 39 bird species since the pilot program began in late 2016.
