In Brazil, a dog owner woke up to find that their two dogs had possibly fought with a hedgehog, and the dogs were covered in hedgehog quills.
The owner quickly took them to the hospital, and the doctor anesthetized them before removing the quills.
A little while later, the German Shepherd woke up from the anesthesia, but it saw its best friend lying beside it motionless…

The owner couldn't bear to watch, trying to lift it up, but it stubbornly refused to move.
The owner had to move the other dog aside and comfort the German Shepherd, telling it: 'Your friend is okay…'
