What to do with the deceased pet fish – should it be buried or eaten?
When I got home from work today, my family had already thrown away the fish that had been injured a few days ago. I was surprised and asked if it was thrown away and if it was dead. They said it was dead and thrown into the trash can.
I felt a slight sense of disbelief and unwillingness, because I thought it was also a life. Maybe I'm just getting older and I have a strong emotional connection to things that stay by my side, I'm used to its presence, and I'm reluctant to let it go.
This little fish wasn't given to me, but it lived in my house and I could see it every day, and I got used to it. Sometimes it would swim over and look at me. Fish also have souls. When I look at it, it swims over to look at me. We just stare at each other, without words.

We started noticing that one of the fish had swelling on the sides of its belly a week ago. I thought it might be pregnant, but then it didn't look like it. When I pulled it out, I saw blood filaments, so I asked others what the cause was. We just raised it like this, without feeding it, just changing the water once. It started to rot every day, and its scales and fins floated away. Finally, it couldn't make it.
Although it wasn't a pet, it was a life nonetheless! It shouldn't be thrown into the trash can. Do you really need to bury it?
