Discovery: Four Scarlet Macaws from Shiyang County Engage in Fierce Battle for Nest Territory; Crows Act as Referees
On March 23rd, two pairs of wild pheasants were engaged in a fierce territorial battle on a old elm tree in WenTong Village, Paperfang Town, Shiyang County. The battle attracted nearby crows who seemed to be acting as referees. The rare scene was recorded by reporters on the spot.
