A Little Life Exists Because of You
I used to hate people who make tall tales and don't bother with drafts.
Hearing those words makes me want to mute the other person instantly.
But ever since I adopted a dog,
I frequently hear many people excitedly boast about their dogs and their achievements in life,
They say they've become dog owners and share their proud little moments in life,
It's strange that I don't find it annoying at all,
Instead, I even agree with it wholeheartedly,
I even nod in agreement!
However, to be honest,
Raising a dog is truly a very rewarding experience…

Raising a dog is like raising a child,
It requires a lot of money, time and energy,
Dogs can't talk,
Often we don't understand their thoughts,
So we constantly deal with various sudden situations,
But that doesn't outweigh the little pride it gives us:,

I remember when it first arrived at home, it was so small,
Its fur was dirty and matted,
You cared for it and watched it grow bit by bit,
And now it's this big guy in front of me,
Seeing its strong and healthy physique,
This lively little life is grown by you,
What could be more deserving of pride?
Taking it for a walk,
Often, people like to come and pat its head,
They praise it,
It's more satisfying than being praised myself!

It doesn't know anything at first,
Then it can remember its own name,
It can understand a few simple words,
And execute the commands you teach it,
To help it better adapt to human life,
This is all your credit!

Sometimes it gets sick,
But you never give up,
You patiently give it medicine every day,
You take it to the hospital for injections,
You spend this month's salary,
But you don't regret it,
Finally, it recovers slowly under your patient care,
It safely passed this dangerous period,

Your hanging heart can finally let go,
In your parents' eyes, you're still a child,
After raising a dog,
They changed their minds,
They realized that their own children could also take responsibility for caring for a life,
So, you see,
Even your parents feel proud of you!
Every time you come home,
It excitedly runs towards you,
Even when it's out for a walk,
You can suddenly find it among the crowd and it rushes towards you,
That feeling is really satisfying,

Even the passersby are envious,
Wherever you go,
It follows you,
When you lie on the sofa watching TV,
It slowly moves closer to cuddle you,
When you're sleeping in bed,
It jumps down and lies at your feet,

Your entire emotion is invested in the dog,
So, you see,
Having a life exist because of you,
And because of your dog, it can have a happier life,
It's a matter of great pride!
