Thousands of seagulls circled above the sea, dancing and fluttering like a group of mischievous children, rising and falling, sometimes quickly skimming the sea and sometimes playfully diving and playing, exhausted seagulls would linger on the shallows searching for food; some were leisurely standing on a row of wooden posts, like notes on a musical score, emitting a chorus of sharp cries, converging into a passionate ‘rock concert’...

Recently, reporters witnessed a lively and heartwarming scene near the entrance of the Mobodong into the sea in Jinwan District, Zhuhai.

“Every year from March and April, there are about 4,500 seagulls coming here.” Photographer Mr. Su told reporters, “There are approximately five types of seagulls here, namely the Grey-Throated Loon, Red-Beaked Loon, Black-tailed Loon, Yellow-Legged Gull, and Ring-billed Gull.”

“The most beautiful one is the Red-Beaked Loon, the Red-Beaked Loon looks a bit like a pigeon, with a small red beak and a flattened black-brown tip, the body is mostly white, when taking flight, it is like a white fairy, becoming a beautiful and unique natural ecological landscape.”
