A pair of Oriental White Storks 'married'
Have returned to the 'home' built last year, raising new members
Photographer Yang Guanghua: 'These Oriental White Storks have been here for many years, approximately four or five years. Because the reeds here are abundant, and its main food source is small fish and shrimp, it can find (food) here, which is convenient for raising its offspring.'

has a special bond with these Oriental White Storks
Liu Jun, Vice Director of the Jinhu Nine Dragon Mouth National Wetland Park Committee: 'On May 3rd last year, the staff of the national wetland park discovered a wounded Oriental White Stork, which was unable to stand. It probably had some fractures. We contacted the rescue station personnel for treatment and rescue.'

7 days later,

The wounded Oriental White Stork's injury healed,
And returned to the wild.
Liu Jun, Vice Director of the Jinhu Nine Dragon Mouth National Wetland Park Committee: 'It's very magical, during the rescue process, the male bird circled in the sky, didn't leave for a long time, waiting for the wounded stork to recover and be released, then they flew together in pairs. A few days ago, a bird expert contacted me and told me that Oriental White Storks had formed a family and hatched four chicks here. We conducted an on-site investigation and found (one of them) was the same bird that we rescued last year.'
