Rescued Koala Returned to the Wild, Hesitant Expression: 'No Longer Has a Home'
Australia experienced devastating bushfires that raged for months, resulting in countless animal deaths. Recently, a surviving koala was released back into the forest, eliciting heartache from foreign netizens.

According to the Daily Mail on January 28th, the Adelaide Hills area in Australia was ravaged by wildfires, with trees burned and animals dying. In one of the forest areas, all the koalas perished in the fire, with only one injured koala being rescued.
The rescue organization named the koala Isaac, and on January 25th, Isaac, who had fully recovered, was released back into the forest, returning to its own home.

However, this koala appeared very hesitant after being released. It would stop and look around after taking a few steps, seeming unsure of its own home.
Indeed, compared to the previously dense trees and foliage, its home is now a scene of devastation and scorched earth. Isaac had also lost all of its relatives and friends. The rescue organization wrote: "When we released him, Isaac was uncertain. The appearance and smell were no longer familiar, poor guy must be wondering what happened here."
But the koala eventually climbed a tree and found its habitat.
"Although there isn't much left here, it's enough for a koala to survive." The rescue organization said. They believe that the surrounding residents will help take care of the koala and give it some water to keep it alive.

Generally, koalas don't drink water; they obtain moisture from eucalyptus leaves.
