On March 24th, a Painted Sandpiper was seen playing in the Gold Pit Wetland in Mingxi County, Fujian Province.
Recently, a flock of Painted Sandpipers has arrived at the Gold Pit Wetland in Mingxi County, Fujian Province. Local birdwatching groups say this bird with big eyes is a 'bird species oddity': during the breeding season, the female occupies the territory and actively seeks mating, securing a mate after nesting, then departing, while the male bird incubates eggs and raises chicks alone.
