This time, it once again entered a Tibetan nomad's barn
On March 29th, a snow leopard entered thecha Village of Chitu County, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Region, and attacked a cow in a shepherd's barn, resulting in the death of the cow. Police officers who rushed to the scene returned the trapped snow leopard to the mountainside.
On that day, the Chitu County Forest Public Security Bureau received a distress call from a shepherd of thecha Second Team of Colorful Township, reporting that a snow leopard had entered his barn and killed a cow. Police officers arriving at the scene found that the trapped snow leopard was an adult snow leopard, which was trapped in the cow pen after hunting.

When police officers prepared to drive the snow leopard away, they found that the snow leopard had multiple injuries on its body, fearing that driving it away would infect the wounds and threaten the snow leopard's life safety. Police officers and local shepherds lured and captured the injured snow leopard, providing simple medical care, and after confirming that it was unharmed, they released the snow leopard back into nature.

In recent years, forest police in the Three Rivers Source Region have increased their protection and publicity efforts for wild animals, and public awareness of protecting wild animals has been continuously improving, resulting in significant improvement in the survival environment of wild animals in the protection area, and a continuous increase in the number and size of animal populations. To prevent property losses for villagers, according to relevant national regulations, economic compensation is given to shepherds who cause property losses.
