Tayshan Linqu Police Station Rescues Wild Goose That Ingested Pesticides

March 7, 2020, the Tayshan Linqu Police Station and the Tayshan Scenic Area Forest Protection Station jointly rescued a wild goose.

On the morning of March 7th, a caring citizen of the Tayshan Scenic Area, Mr. Zhang, discovered a flightless bird in his farmland. Through the Huangqian Town Firefighting Brigade, he contacted the Forest Protection Station and the Tayshan Forest Police Station, reporting the situation. Police officers from the Tayshan Forest Police Station and forest protection experts immediately rushed to the scene. After preliminary judgment, it was a wild goose, possibly due to food poisoning after ingesting pesticides. To ensure that this wild goose receives timely treatment, the officers put it in a cage and sent it to the Forest Protection Station.

Next, this wild goose will temporarily stay at the Forest Protection Station for further observation and treatment. After recovering its health, it will be released back into nature.
