Drunken Elephants in Yunnan Become Internet Sensation After Drinking Local Wine and Falling Asleep in Tea Garden

Recently, a herd of 14 elephants arrived in Menghai County, Yunnan Province, entering villagers' tea gardens and sugarcane fields, charging and crashing in search of food. Among the elephants, two of them accidentally found the white wine brewed by local villagers, and then happily drank it. After drinking, the two elephants fell into a drunken sleep due to the fragrant grain wine.

The video of the two elephants was forwarded to overseas social media and gained more than 140,000 likes, becoming a foreign internet celebrity. Meanwhile, the British media 'Daily Mail' published a report on the two thieving elephants on March 20th, and reprinted the video. In the video, the two elephants sway leisurely in the tea garden and finally fall down, leaning against each other and snoring. One of the elephants even shook its hips, possibly to show its disapproval.

It is reported that the two elephants consumed a total of 30 kilograms of white wine, all brewed by local villagers, pure and natural without additives. However, although the wine is good, it cannot be drunk like this. The elephants, relying on their plumpness, drank so much wine and even lay directly in the tea garden, causing a lot of damage to the crops. However, the elephants that fell asleep with fragrant Pu'er tea are also considered winners in life.
